ICCE Global Coach Conference

Development Director Dagmara Gerasimuk and Gerold Sattlecker, Head of the IBU Academy, attended the International Council of Coaching Excellence (ICCE) Conference in Athens. The main topic was the development of coaches towards 2030 in a fast-achieving technology.

The 15^th ICCE Conference held in Athens from 20 to 23 November 2025 brought together coaches, coach developers, researchers, sport scientists, technical directors, and sport administrators to address the key challenges and opportunities shaping the future of coaching. The event provides a platform to explore new research, exchange experiences, and learn from leading global experts in coaching development.

Dagmara Gerasimuk and Gerold Sattlecker represented the IBU Academy, contributing to discussions on how technology, innovation, and evolving athlete needs are reshaping coaching frameworks and competencies for the decade ahead. They connected with experts and exchanged ideas with peers dedicated to advancing coaches' educational programmes.

It was a valuable opportunity to discuss cooperation with ICCE and establish common priorities in supporting biathlon coaches through the IBU Academy.
