IBU Research Grant Programme
The IBU Research Grant Programme is a dedicated initiative aimed at fostering innovative research that contributes to the growth and development of biathlon. It supports established researchers and institutions in exploring priority fields related to the sport. Applications are open to university professors, lecturers, and research fellows with a completed doctorate and an active academic or research affiliation during the grant period.

Physiology and Biomechanics - Psychology - Athlete's well-being - High-Performance - Long-Term Athlete Development - Para Biathlon - Recovery - Equipment - Nutrition - other topics aligned with IBU's Target 2030.
Project Results
To date, the IBU has supported 21 projects across 16 different universities and institutions worldwide. So far, 17 projects have already been completed, while 4 are currently underway.
