The IBU Academy Coach Education Programme offers a clear pathway to success, with different levels of courses designed for everyone from novices to experienced coaches. For the 2026/27 season, the following courses are offered:

Course Overview

Basic Course 2026

• Dates: 03–09 May 2026

• Locations: Salzburg-Rif (AUT) and Ruhpolding (GER)

• Application Deadline: 31 January 2026

• Application: By NF via IBU Scope

First Level Course 2026/27

• Dates:

  • Week 1: 26 May – 1 June 2026 (Hochfilzen, AUT)

  • Week 2: October 2026 (Pokljuka, SLO)

  • Week 3: March/April 2027 (Ramsau, AUT)

• Application Deadline: 31 January 2026

• Application: By NF via IBU Scope

Third Level Course 2026/27

• Dates:

  • Week 1: September 2026 (Oslo, NOR)

  • Week 2: Spring 2027 (Location TBC)

  • Week 3: Summer 2027 (Location TBC)

• Application Deadline: 31 March 2026

• Application: By NF via IBU Scope

Regional Basic Course 2026

• Dates:

  • Course 1: 24–29 August 2026

  • Course 2: 22–27 October 2026

• Application Deadline: 31 March 2026

• Application: By the "Host NF" via IBU Scope
