The Basic Course is perfect for individuals who are new to biathlon coaching and want to build a strong foundation in coaching beginners and young athletes. If you’re looking to learn essential skills in skiing, shooting, and athlete performance, this course will provide you with the tools to begin your coaching journey. Taught by experienced coaches and experts in winter sports, this course will give you a well-rounded introduction to biathlon coaching.
Besides the centralized Basic Course, the IBU Academy also provides Regional Basic Courses. In this case, 3 or more National Federations can host a course in their region.
